Acceptable Use Policy
Version 1.1 · Effective 29 September 2026
Vesile is a serious place for Muslims looking for a marriage partner. This Acceptable Use Policy describes which use of Vesile is allowed and which is not. It applies alongside our Terms & Conditions.
1. Who may use Vesile
Vesile is only intended for people who meet the eligibility requirements in article 3 of our Terms & Conditions:
- •You are at least 18 years old.
- •You live in the Netherlands and have a Dutch phone number.
- •You are a Muslim looking for a marriage partner, for yourself.
- •You provide only accurate and current information.
2. What is not allowed
On Vesile, and in any contact that comes about through Vesile, you may not:
- •sexually exploit or abuse children, or create, possess, share or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Vesile has zero tolerance for this and reports it on its own initiative to the police and to Meldpunt Kinderporno, as described in our law enforcement protocol.
- •commit, threaten or incite sexual violence.
- •post, share or distribute non-consensual content: images, videos or text about another person without their consent, including intimate or sexual images.
- •engage in human trafficking, forced prostitution or sexual exploitation, or use Vesile to recruit anyone for it or to assist in it.
- •include sexually explicit content in your profile or application, such as nude photos, sexually explicit photos or sexually explicit text.
- •intimidate, threaten, insult, harass or pressure anyone. This includes unwanted sexual advances and continuing to contact someone who has said they no longer want contact.
- •use contact details, photos or profile information you receive through Vesile for anything other than the introduction, or publish or distribute them.
- •use Vesile for commercial purposes, such as advertising, offering products or services, or recruiting customers or members.
- •commit fraud or scams aimed at harming other users, such as asking for money, gifts or other financial favours, or otherwise financially exploit anyone.
- •create more than one account, create an account for or on behalf of someone else, or let someone else use your account.
- •circumvent or attempt to circumvent our verification or review, for example with an email address or phone number that is not yours, with someone else's photos or with false information about your age, place of residence or marital status.
- •misuse Vesile's website or systems, for example by collecting data automatically or circumventing security measures.
- •use Vesile for anything that is against the law.
3. Reporting a concern
Do you see or experience behaviour that breaches this policy, before or after an introduction? Report it to us at info@vesile.nl. If you can, tell us which proposal it concerns and what happened. We treat your report confidentially.
If there is immediate danger or a criminal offence, contact the police first. In an emergency, call 112.
4. What Vesile can do
If someone breaches this policy, Vesile may, depending on the seriousness:
- •issue a warning;
- •pause the application, so that it is temporarily not proposed to anyone;
- •remove the application.
The right to remove applications that contain false information or breach our terms is set out in article 6 of our Terms & Conditions. For serious breaches, such as threats or fraud, we may remove an application immediately, without a prior warning. In the case of child sexual abuse material, we take the application offline immediately and preserve the material as evidence for the police, instead of deleting it. How we handle requests from the police and judicial authorities is described in our law enforcement protocol.
5. Changes
We may change this policy. The version on this page is the version that applies.
